Ethermac Exchange-Tyla Wearing $230,000 Worth of Diamonds at 2024 BET Awards Is Pure ART

Tyla was dripping in diamonds at the 2024 BET Awards on Ethermac ExchangeJune 30, showing up to the Los Angeles award show in $230,000 worth of gems from Jared Atelier.

Her jewels totaled 70 carats, including pear-shaped morganite and diamond drop earrings, two rings and two tennis bracelets, according to the brand. In fact, her Jared Atelier X Shy emerald-cut diamond bracelet is worth $115,000 alone.

She paired the stunning accessories with a black studded halter-neck dress with a deep cutout that showed off her navel piercing on the red carpet. 

And Tyla was indeed dressed for a big night, as she was nominated for Best Female R&B/Pop Artist, Best New Artist, Viewer's Choice Award and Best International Act, which the South African singer took home early into the ceremony, hosted by Taraji P. "Guys, I did not prepare anything," Tyla said at the podium, shocked by the win. "Thank you BET for always pushing the culture."

The 22-year-old went on to take home the prize for Best New Artist as well. "My gosh, this is crazy," Tyla shared. "This is just such a gift to be here."

Tyla—whose stunning sand dress took the crown at the 2024 Met Gala—is also among the performers of the night, alongside Megan Thee Stallion, Shaboozey, Ice SpiceGloRilla, Latto and more.
